Spencer joined our herd on January 21, 2001. He is russet Mammoth Jackstock gelding, and was born on June 18, 2000. At 17 months old, Spencer measured approximately 52" tall, and growing.

His sire is a 57" tall Mammoth jack, and his dam is a 52" tall jennet. He is out of champion Mammoth Jackstock bloodlines, including Black Bart, Siemon's Glen, and several Dry Gulch Donkeys, and is a half cousin to Sagebrush Mountain Singer and champion Heart B Lonesome Me.

Spencer has an excellent temperament, calm disposition, and loves to be around people. We have taken him for walks around our neighborhood, and up in the mountains, and he has done great with all the new sights and sounds. Spencer leads, loads, and trailers great, and is very good with hoof trimming.

Spencer has been purchased by John Xanthopoulos of Dillon, Montana. Congratulations John on the purchase of this wonderful gelding! Once Spencer is old enough, John hopes to use him as a riding, driving, and pack gelding.
