We just got back from attending Montana Mule Days in Drummond, Montana for
the first time. This was our first show to participate in, and we entered
several events with our jennet, Sagebrush Desert Delight. We had a great time!
The first event we participated in was Mammoth Jennet Halter. We placed
second in that class. Below are two photos of Lily and me in the halter class.

Our second event was Youth Donkey Barrel Racing. This was our
favorite event with plenty of audience participation and encouragement.
:-) We placed first in this class. (photos below)

The third event we participated in was Youth Donkey Pole
Bending, where we also placed first.

Sunday the weather turned nasty. It rained all night Saturday
night, and started snowing Sunday morning! The photo below is of the Junior
Showmanship class in the snow Sunday morning. After we finished in that class,
we decided to skip the last three events we had signed up for and head home
early.

We also took home the Hi-Point Youth Riding Donkey Award.
