Bishop Mule Days was again a highlight of our year! We've been working hard all year getting
ready for this show season. This year our show string includes Sagebrush Oklahoma
Andy and Sagebrush Desert Delight (aka Lily). They both did very well.
This was Lily's first year being shown under saddle by an adult rider (second show ever), and both
Andy and Lily's first year being shown in harness.
Andy competed in Donkey Gamblers Choice Driving (placed 7th), Single Donkey Pleasure Driving
(placed 5th), Donkey Barrel Racing (placed 5th), Donkey Keyhole Race (placed 8th), Donkey Polebending
(placed 4th), Donkey Jennet/Gelding Halter 3yr+ (made it to the top 16 out of 35), and Donkey Trail.
Lily competed in Donkey Barrel Racing, Donkey Keyhole Race, Donkey Polebending (placed 10th),
Donkey Jennet/Gelding Halter 3yr+, and Donkey Trail (placed 10th).
Andy and Lily also competed in the new 2-Up Donkey Hitch class, where they placed 3rd out of 5 teams.
Here are a few photos of our adventures at the show:
