Sagebrush Desert Rose (aka Rosie) was our second donkey. She came to live with us on January 13, 1999. Rosie is a jennet donkey, and was about 9 years old when we got her. She is a large standard donkey, and is about 12.2 hands high. Rosie is a chocolate brown color with a darker brown dorsal stripe and cross.

Rosie was purchased by Jane Thompson, and has gone to live with her family in Marbleville, Wyoming. There she is proving to be an excellent horse guard donkey, and is keeping the stray dogs away. She is also a riding donkey for Jane's young daughter.
